HEAD TO TOES REFLEXOLOGY AND FOOT CARE

Precision Reflexology is one form of reflexology and as such, it holds the same rational as other forms of the therapy. It focuses on stimulating 'reflex points' on the feet in order to maintain good health. Practitioners believe that, by applying appropriate pressure to the points, it is possible to treat a wide range of disorders.

Reflex areas are on both the Dorsal and Plantar aspects of both feet. The specific technique, which is exclusive to this, is called 'Linking'. This involves holding two or three identified points at the same time to add power and definition to the treatment. As the link is held, just for a few moments, the reflexologist just listens, via the hands and in this way the treatment is matched to the individual with precision work.

'Linking' is initiated by stimulating the reflexes to be connected and feeling the energy between them. This is an amazing sensation, felt by both the reflexologist and the client, this can be felt as a tingle, a pulse or as heat.
